Biography
I have been your Chairman since July 2008 and I am exceptionally proud to be in such a position.
I have been with Foresters for nearly 6 seasons. I have been involved with the CMG for over 4 years.
I have lived in and around Kent all my life, save for a brief spell living in California. I have been involved in Football since I was born! My father was a Football League Referee (truly I do know the flack they take and he still has good contacts in KCFA and the FA) and I personally have played in school teams, local teams, works teams, pub teams but never a veterans team. No, that is not an invite!
I am Head of IT and Facilities for the Royal College of General Practitioners in London. I am very happily married to Heidi who is not only a great mum to my two boys - who also represent Foresters at U10 and U12, not only a consummate sportswoman, but also very understanding in allowing the boys and me to dedicate most of our time to “the beautiful game”. Without her support all three of us would fail!
Foresters is a great club! I am not saying that because I am the Chariman, I am saying it because I truly believe it. We have fantastic players, fantastic parents and fantastic coaches. Everyone is fully absorbed in their teams whether they are Development, Crowborough and District or Tandridge. Foresters are unique; we are inclusive and selective! Whether you are simply enjoying Football as a fun sport or you are highly competitive Foresters can help you!
