Foresters players debut for Tunbridge Wells FC Reserves
Following the recent training sessions with Tunbridge Wells F.C., we would like to congratulate 2 players from the under 16's Foresters side:
Anthus Davis was selected to play on the 11th of February for Tunbridge Wells Reserves, against Slade Green, Anthus was called on with 15 minutes left to play, he enjoyed his first of many experiences, looking very comfortable in midfield, Tunbridge Wells F.C. Lost 2-1 in a very close game.
Charlie Sharman also attended the game against Slade Green as a substitute, but unfortunately did not get called upon. However, he was selected for this weeks Cup Quarter Final game against Ashford F.C, again as substitute, but due to an error in the amount of games played by a senior player, Charlie was selected to start the game.
Within 15 minutes, Charlie put a defender under pressure, who clashed with his own keeper, allowing Charlie to score, what a debut! He went on to have an excellent game, creating the 3rd goal before being substituted with ten minutes to play of full time. At this point Tunbridge Wells were leading 3 - 2, within the last minute Ashford caused the upset and equalised and went on to win 4-3 after 30 minutes extra time, another very close game.
