U9's enjoy the Jamboree

A big congratulations to the team and a thank you to the parents for their support at the Tonbridge League Jamboree on Sunday 7th May. The team pulled off some fantastic results, undoubtedly playing some of the best football at the event! We more than held our own against better experienced, higher league teams. Apart from the one defeat, we managed to keep clean sheets in the other 3 matches so well done to Ahron Sorrell and his solid defence.
The results were as follows:
vs. Crowborough Athletic (City League) L 0 – 1
vs. Seal Juniors (Town League) D 0 – 0
vs. Jarvis Brook Juniors (City League) D 0 – 0
vs. East Grinstead Athletic (Town League) W 1 – 0 (Scorer: Daniel Colbran)
Everyone had a really good day and the team were all awarded medals for participation at the end.
