East Peckham 2 v Foresters 5

Tunbridge Wells Foresters conceded there first league goal since 12 November 2006 in the this Crowbrough & District league B match.

Foresters started the stronger team playing some good passing football  but were denied early on by the East Peckham back four who caught Foresters off side on several occassions. Foresters continued to push forward and Adam Finch was rewarded with two goals for his efforts and a further goal came from George Goodridge.

Foresters then allowed East Peckham back into the game and they pulled two goals back by half time. Further East Peckham pressure early in the second half saw East Peckham awarded a penalty. The penalty kick was well taken but Jay Faure in the Foresters goal was in excellent form and pulled off a fantastic save to deny East Peckham the chance to pull level. This was the turning point for Foresters who lifted there game and scored two more goals from Sam Gold and a left foot volley from Ed Ballard.

Tom Green and Tom Ash both put in good performances for Foresters but the Man of the Match was Jay Faure for his excellent penalty save.
