FA Level 1 Coaching Course

As part of Foresters on going commitment to coach development we are pleased to confirm the next available dates for interested candidates to take the Level 1 coaching badge in conjunction with the Kent FA

The Level 1 course is the most popular coaching course in the UK and is the ideal introduction to coaching for all coaches with little experience or knowledge.

The course covers, in a practical format the following:

Understanding defence
Goalkeeping
Heading
Mini Soccer
Attacking
Turning
Passing and control
Shooting
Combination play, 1v2 and 2v2

The Level 1 Course includes the FA Emergency Aid badge and FA Child Protection certificate.

The course runs over 4 consecutive Sundays and the following dates are available:

5^th, 12^th, 19^th and 26^th August 2007

2^nd, 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd Sept 2007

7^th, 14^th, 21^st, 28^th October

The course is funded entirely by the club and is a great opportunity to develop coaching skills that will be of tremendous value to the kids you coach.
