MasterClass GoalKeepers Camp

On a lovely afternoon it was great to see the 23 Goalkeepers enjoy the
first Foresters MasterClass Goalkeeper Camp.
As the players arrived they were met by our top Goalkeeper coach Alan Kibbey and his team of coaches. A brief discussion outlining what the session would comprise of was followed by a warm up specifically designed for Goalkeepers.
The group then split into three age related groups spending 30 minutes rotating
between each coach learning and practising different techniques with some well organised Goalkeeper drills.
While having a 5 minute break to take in some refreshments the
goalkeepers were pleased to hear some more useful tips from Alan and his team, the group once again split, this time into two age related groups and
played games such as Goalie Wars and hot potato to put into practise
what they had learnt.
The Goalkeepers finished the session and were presented with their well earned Medals, Certificates, Foresters Wrist Bands and New Goalkeepers Gloves.
After the team photos they all left with a smile on their faces.
On a personal note it was great to be involved and see all the Goalkeepers have the chance to participate, enjoy, learn and improve from the experience with like minded people. WELL DONE TO ALL THE GOALKEEPERS!.
