End of season Fun!

Foresters Under 12's join the prawn sandwich brigade!

This week Foresters under 12’s travelled to White Hart Lane to watch Tottenham play Blackburn. The event was hosted by one of the under 12’s sponsors ‘Markerstudy’ who have a box at The Lane.

We had an excellent time, all except team manager Paul Jackson a Spurs supporter who I’m sure has seen better days. What a shame that a pitch once graced by the likes of Gascoigne, Greaves and Hoddle is now trampled on by the current lot.

We hired a mini bus from a local company and on arriving at the ground were shown into the players’ car park. After parking our transit next to the Bentleys we were shown to our executive box with an endless supply of drinks as well as free programmes. The view was excellent and I have to say that there is no better way to watch football.

At half time we had a meal which the boys really enjoyed, followed by more drinks.

We arrived back in Tunbridge wells at approx 12.30am. All the boys managed to get to school the next day, I did feel sorry for Conor who had a French exam the following day. C’est La Vie..........

A big thank-you to Kevin Spencer, Chief Executive of Markerstudy for inviting us to use his box for the evening and to Chris Carew for driving us. Finally to the boys, I have been on several trips with Foresters and I have to say that the behaviour of the boys was excellent, a credit to their club, we all had great fun.
