Under 8's Tandridge League success
2 Oct 2007
Match report
Tunbridge Wells Foresters v Orpington (away)
Both teams this week were well matched, Orpington started straight away with good passing and good team work, but our boys were up to the challenge.Even though both teams were well matched it soon became apparent that we had the edge on them, our first touch was far better and this helped our attacks.
The whole team were as one again, their passing and defending was great, and I did notice was that the communication was a lot more verbal, which as we all know is a big help while playing football.
Defence was strong Tyler Adams , Harry Grice , Alfie Davies
Midfield was solid Oliver Shine, Oliver Bone , William Sweatman
Strikers were perfect Jorod Smith , Toby Talbot
Safe hands Goalie Jake Hobart
The passing and team work paid off as Tunbridge Wells Foresters Under 8 won 3-0. This was by far te hardest and most rewarding game that we have had this season.
I would like to thank Orpington Football club for making us feel welcome and also the supporters of Orpington.
Well done to all players for all your hard work.
