Tandridge League Match Report V Orpington
Tunbridge Wells Foresters Under 8 (2) v Orpington FC (0)
Harrison Grice (Man of The Match) had a great game today, his defending was outstanding as well as his passing, a lot of the attacking came from our defence and this week the lads were using the wings alot.
They have now relaised that by using the wings they can attack with better results.Oliver Shine's first goal was in the first half attacking up the left wing; the ball was passed to Oliver and a fantastic shot proved to much for the Orpington keeper. The rest of the 1st half was end to end both teams defended very well.
Second Half
We were now kicking down hill with the wind against us (very strong wind), Orpington were up and ready to go, straight away they were on the attack and we had a few efforts saved by Alfie and a few off the line. Then it was out turn to put the pressure on, good pasing from the team and Oliver Shine scored another goal. We also had a few saved of the line.
All together the under 8's fought well against Orpington and the weather so well done lads.
