CAFFYNS CHEVROLET SPONSOR NEW SHIRTS & DRILL TOPS FOR TWFFC U12A SQUAD

CHEVROLET SUPPORTS KIDS FOR KIDS PROGRAMME

Thanks to Andy Kitney, Chevrolet Brand Manager at Caffyns plc, we are extremely pleased to announce another sponsor in addition to ALBA Transport who very genorously supplied the squad with some excellent Prostar waterproof tops this season.

TWFFC U12A squad has been chosen by car retailer Caffyns to take part in Chevrolet’s nationwide campaign – Kids 4 Kids.

The aim of the campaign is two fold, firstly to promote sport among young children by providing complete sports kits for local clubs (a significant expense for a lot of teams) and secondly to then encourage the participating children to come up with ideas to raise money for ChildLine, a service of the NSPCC, which provides a 24-Hour free and confidential helpline to children in distress or danger.

Tunbridge Wells Foresters Under 12a team will receive help and encouragement from Caffyns Chevrolet to support the fundraising initiatives. In recognition of the efforts and commitment of the children during the programme, prizes will be awarded by Chevrolet both for the teams which have raised the most money during the year. The most successful squad will claim the Chevrolet Champion Fundraiser of the Year accolade.

The U12A squad will be doing their fund raising at the TWFFC Fun Day at Bayham on the 14th June, so please visit the Chevrolet stand & find out more, where we'll be doing our bit to raise as much as possible for a very worthy cause

As well as the kits supplied to the team, Caffyns had a large shirt made up for the Foresters U12A team to sign, which will hang on the wall in the showroom on Lamberts Road. The team signed the shirt at the dealership on Saturday May 3rd.

Commenting on the programme, Andrew Kitney of Caffyns Chevrolet said: “The Kids for Kids initiative is valuable in so many ways, it encourages children to maintain regular exercise and be part of a team, while also enabling them to help other children beyond their community.  We’re thrilled to have Tunbridge Wells Foresters Football Club on board and we’re looking forward to lots of fundraising activities.”

Lastly, the U12A squad will be holding end of season and pre season friendlies & trial matches. If you would like to take part please contact David or Julian direct, or contact us via the TWFFC website www.forestersfc.com or alternatively phone 01892 617140.
