Tandridge U7’s at Ridgeway Tournament

A damp and chilly Saturday morning and an 8.15 am registration greeted the players and parents to the Ridgeway tournament at the weekend.
The format was four matches on a friendly basis against Wadhurst, Ridgeway, Tonbridge Invicta and Chipstead. The results are shown below:-
Wadhurst 0 TW Foresters 3
Tonbridge Invicta 0 TW Foresters 1
Ridgeway 0 TW Foresters 1
Chipstead 1 TW Foresters 5
The boys played well in all their matches though they started slowly (Probably due to the early start!) and as the results showed they remained unbeaten during the course of the day with 4 wins and to show for their efforts. Their movement and passing was again excellent and probably the key difference between the teams.
The boys scored a total of 10 goals and conceded only 1.
The manager would like to thank the boys and all parents and grandparents for their continued commitment and effort in getting the boys to the event at such any early hour and also for the support that they gave to the boys during the day.
