Are you a strong committed player?
Foresters FC U11’s will be trialling players for next season’s team in Tandridge A League. If you wish to play in the Foresters U12 Team this will be the only opportunity to trial (I have a busy summer ahead). If you know any other players who might be interested in a trial I am happy to see them. More the merrier.
Some Q and A’s
Q. I play in the team now, do I need to trial?
A. Yes, all players who want to play next season must attend as the trial will likely to be attended by non-Foresters players
Q. What if I am unable to attend but want to be considered?
A. Please advise Andy and he can advise further
Q. How many players are you looking for?
A. The team will need at least 16 committed players
Q. Will I be given a set position in the team?
A. Not necessarily, the team will require balance so we are looking to develop players not positions?
Q. What happens to any players that are not successful?
A. No decisions will be made immediately, and all players/parents will have the opportunity to chat to me to discuss this further
Q. Do parents have to stay through the trial?
A. No you do not have to stay but I am happy if you want to – bear in mind the facilities are not good so bring a flask of tea!
The trial format will run as an open training session and small sided games from 9.30am to 11.00am on SATURDAY 8th MAY at;

Your son will need;
- Shin Pads
- Water
- Training Kit – Foresters players NOT in training or match day kit please
- Clean Boots
- Warm clothing/Summer/Rain – blimey you know the weather!
- Enthusiasm and commitment
