Emphatic victory for the U13 Girls

5 - 0 Ringer Rovers

Follwing the great success of last weeks' result against Jarvis Brook it was back to Southwood Road where the girls had dramtically lost in the final moments of the first league match of the season to Hastings.
Today's opponents were Ringmer and after a stressful morning (that was before we'd even kicked off), the match was played in a great spirit, but the Foresters girls outshone their opponents in every part of the field.
Millie Everett on hand with a fantastic hat-trick won the player of the match award, and Gemma scored a cool and calm penalty kick and a great shot from outside the box in the 2nd half.
With a few questionable decisions the girls played with such fantastic resolve and spirit, we are lucky to have such a great team and we will only get better and stronger as the season progresses.
Next up? Who knows, but we are ready for any team!
