Tunbridge Wells Foresters 1 V Croydon Ath 6. Scorers: Bennett, D.
Unfortunately I can only be truthful and say that overall it was a disappointing and very frustrating performance. At our best we can compete in this league and that's how we played the previous week and how we started this Sunday.
But then after conceding two quick goals. We quickly went back to our old ways and stopped doing all the good things we had been doing. The saving grace and in itself something I consider Extremely important was that we kept our heads high and spirits up till the final whistle and earnt a deserved goal because of that.
Make no mistake this is a tough league and there will be some very good teams. We are capable of competing with them at our best anything less than that and we will struggle.
Anyway we mustn't dwell but learn again and move on. Looking positively ahead to our next game a very important Cup tie.
