We are off to the Tandridge League!
AUGUST 2007 - A message from Andy and Paul
I would like to confirm my recent email to parents. Last seasons Crowborough League squad will be changing leagues to the Tandridge league this coming season. We will be playing in Tandridge League South Division.
This decision has been taken as a result of being relegated by the Crowborough and District Junior Football League even though we did not finish in a relegation position. We have unsuccessfully appealed against the CDJFL decision, and so have decided it is time for a new challenge. We believe that the Tandridge league will offer the right level for the boys to play their football
This is going to be a new challenge and a new adventure for the boys. We will be playing new teams, and it will be very important that we have continued parental support this season and good attendance at matches to cheer the boys on. We anticipate that most of our matches will still be local in our area however we will have one or two games in the Croydon and Crystal Palace area.
Inside training commences on 11th September 6.30 to 8.00 at The ‘TN2’ Gym formally the Sherwood YMCA, Lakeside, T Wells, TN2 3LX.
Our first league game in the Tandridge League is weekend of 16/09/07.
We have a pre season friendly against Ridgeway on 25th August 10.30 kick off at Ridgeway, all boys are invited to play. Please arrive at 10.00am.
