Foresters v Old Coulsdon

TUNBRIDGE WELLS FORESTERS U13A   1

OLD COULSDON COLTS                           1

Tunbridge Wells Foresters played Old Coulsdon Colts at home this week and dominated play from the start, with good vision and great movement on the ball, Foresters gained most of the possession, and in truth played the better football.

Midfielder Luke Mathias seemed unstoppable down the left side, constantly running legs off Coulsdon, who seemed a little overwhelmed by the Foresters attacks.

If league leaders Coulsdon, who have only lost one game this season, came expecting an easy game they were mistaken, as the  Foresters youngsters had other ideas.

Foresters hard work paid off with a quality 15 yard strike from Harry Tampsett, which soared into the left hand corner to give Foresters a one goal lead before half time.

Foresters had more chances in the second half, to go further in the lead but unfortunately did not seize their chances ,when maybe they should have. The Foresters side had appeared on course for a thrilling victory, but 1 minute from the final whistle Coulsdon gained a point at the death to make the final score 1-1.
