Wandle v Foresters
6 Mar 2007
Foresters let lead slip
Wandle Wanderers 1 Tunbridge Wells Foresters 1
Tunbridge Wells Foresters under 13a played Wandle Wanderers away on
Sunday and got off to a promising start when Adam Bunyan took advantage of
Wanderers defensive mix up and tucked the loose ball past their keeper, to put
Foresters one up after 10 minutes.
Unfortunately Foresters could not build on this lead, and at times were guilty of some sloppy play which allowed Wanderers back in the game.
Foresters play seemed inconsistent in the second half, and with forward play lacking and midfield disappointing they made hard work of it.
Wandle Wanderers nearly caused an upset when they hit the crossbar but luckily
it was cleared off the line.
Foresters have it all to do now, if they want to compete with the top 3 teams in the Tandridge league.
