Under 7's get "the rub of the green"
Tunbridge Wells Golf Club has sponsored the Foresters U7’s mini soccer teams. TW Foresters have entered 4 Under-7’s teams in to the Crowborough and District Junior Football League and have also entered a team into the Tandridge League.
Foresters FC’s ethos is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for girls and boys from 5 to adult to learn and develop their footballing skills, encouraging fair play, good behaviour and teamwork both on and off the pitch, supported by good coaching staff, a strong management structure and a sound financial footing. They understand that football is a very competitive game that fosters within its participants the desire to be winners. They embrace that philosophy. However, they also realise that football is also about having fun, learning new skills, being part of a team and making friends. We at TWGC embrace that philosophy too.Tunbridge Wells Golf Club believes the combination of football and golf go hand-in-hand. Football for its team spirit and the platform for juniors to play and work as a team, and golf is an individual game needing concentration at all times. It is no surprise that most footballers also play golf. Both games are to be enjoyed and we wish Tunbridge Wells Foresters FC and especially their U7’s great success in the future
