U8'S at the Palace!
The Tandridge under 8's Blue Squad were invited to the Crystal Palace Development Academy for a mini tournament on Friday 24th October to play against the Crystal Palace development centre teams and also Selsdon Juniors.
The format was 3x15 minutes 8 a side matches. Each match saw the 9 Foresters players given equal match time. There were some superb football played by the Foresters squad throughout the course of the evening, with some good passing moves, individual skill and great team work in what turned out to be a very close set of matches. The boys acquitted themselves well and showed that they were more than a match for the other teams at the tournament. The boys won one game, drew one game and lost one game these results show just how far they have progressed in the past few months! At the end of the evening all the managers and supporters/parents of all the teams showed their appreciation for the effort and skill shown by the players.
Congratulations to all the boys and thank you to their parents forgetting them to the event on time and for their vocal support during the tournament.
