After Foresters U10's United & Athletic finished top & runners up of there respective groups we realised that we would have to play each other in the semi finals of the challenging Uckfield Sussex Sixes tournament.
What turned out to be the game of the tournament in an enthralling encounter of skill and wonderful controlled football the game remanded still tied 0-0 after full & extra time as both teams obviously knowing each other cancelled each other out.

A nervous penalty shoot out followed with Athletic narrowly scrapping through to the final. With Uckfield Grasshoppers the other finalists watching the encounter between our teams, Athletic had to return to the pitch fairly immediately looking tired but battled bravely going down 1-0 in a very close & skilful match.
Great credit to this club that we can produce two semi finalists and well played to all the boys which was a great start to our summer tournament campaign - well done.
