Tunbridge Wells Council increase pitch hire by 67%!!

The cost of pitch hire will increase by a whopping 67% as from 1 April 2019 meaning to hire one pitch hire will cost £67.00.

William Benson Chief Executive of TWBC stated ''I admit its a large percentage increase. I think the idea was to bring the fee for large pitches (the ones used by our U13 teams -12 & 13 year old kids) closer to the adult charge.

That is the TWBC thought process behind this rip off increase, but to put these costs into perspective we could hire Hawkenbury as a cricket pitch for the whole day and only pay £80.00!!
Clearly your local council really dont want Community Football Clubs in the borough, and you get the impression that they are pricing us out of business.
