Our U16's where invited to play Kings Hill FC Colts U16's in a 'Father's Day' charity match at Maidstone United's Gallagher Stadium.

The game was also to celebrate the life of Nicola Thompstone one of the Kings Hill mums who tragically passed away last year leaving sons who still play for KHFC. The match was played in tremendous spirit with both teams putting in a terrific performance entertaining a lively crowd of spectators with lads shaking off a few cobwebs after recently finishing GCSE's studies which they completed last week.

With donations and a raffle after the match over £2500.00 has been raised to date for this fantastic charity with the proceeds going towards Hospice in the Weald. Stuart Newman the Foresters coach said 'It was an honour to be invited by Dean Holmes the KHFC coach to help with such a great cause, especially as both teams have played some very tough matches over the years that have always been good sporting battles played in the correct sporting spirit''

The TWFFC squad now have a break until pre-season starts next month as they prepare life as U18's and are keen to sign a goal keeper for the new season. Great bunch of lads so if anyone wants to arrange a trial please contact Stuart – stuart.forestersfc@gmail.com
