Shield Cup vs Tonbridge Invicta

First game back after a long lockdown. A great team win. 3-2 scoreline could have been more, with a bit more run of the play in front of goal. But who's complaining, a win is a win and it was an all round outstanding performance from the girls. Team ethic was massive. Everybody contributed - a strong performance in goal by Maisie, a commanding defence in Amelia (opposition player of the match) and Rosie (really well taken goal, and unlucky not to have three). Great link up play with midfield; Charlotte controlling the midfield (brilliant two goals, could also had three), Becky with so much energy pushing down the right; Harriet winning the ball in so many areas. Every player in the team deserves a mention. The pressing, energy and link up between them all was a joy to watch. Absolutely well done.
